EU DAY 2 – A Successful International Exchange
Students from Andrassy György Catholic Business Academy (Hungary), IES Gabriel Miró (Spain), and the 2AK of the BHAK/BHAS Graz – Business High School (Austria) participated in the second online EU DAY on the 13th March 2025. We explored key EU topics such as transport, regions, space, sports, culture, media, and migration, researching EU policies, assessing their effectiveness, and proposing improvements. Each of the six groups also analyzed political party positions ahead of the EU elections 2024 on the individual topics.
The online event (MS TEAMS) featured presentations, project work, and discussions, with students creating PowerPoint slides and handouts. The day concluded with individual presentations and a final reflection.
EU DAY 2025 was a success, fostering international collaboration, critical thinking, and deeper engagement with European issues. This was the final preparatory online meeting for an upcoming visit to Brussels between the 6th and the 10th April 2025, where students will explore the European Parliament, the Parlamentarium (an interactive museum on the history of the EU), and the House of European History, among other activities.
The absolute highlight will undoubtedly be the opportunity to finally meet our friends from Hungary and Spain in person. We can’t wait to see all of you and Brussels.
